*SUMMARY REPORT ON THE VISIT TO MS LAWRENCIA DANSO OF ST. TERESA'S COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, HOHOE*
*Introduction*
Following the circulating flyer of Ms. Lawrencia Danso in a quest for financial support to undergo her surgery, SEC on Sunday, 6th June 2021 had an emergency meeting and agreed to extend a helping hand. An amount of One Thousand Ghana Cedis (Ghc 1000.00) was been resolved to be donated to the aforementioned trainee of St. Teresa's College of Education.
*Main Event*
On Saturday, 12th June 2021, a two-member delegation (the President and Coordinator) journeyed to Hohoe. The announcement of intent to visit caused some Volta Sector Officers and Local Presidents to meet the delegation at Hohoe.
On Sunday afternoon, the two-member delegation met the St. Theresa's College of Education SRC executives, Ms. Lawrencia Danso (victim) and some TTAG-Volta SEC members at the college's assembly hall.
The purpose of the visit was shared and communicated. The presentation was done in that same sitting. Words of inspiration and prayers were as well offered to the victim.
When all was done, pictures were taken to serve as a memorial and event of reflection.
The SRC executives then took the delegation to the residence of the Students' Affairs Officer. The Reverend Father appreciated the sector for such a generous exercise and prayed for journey mercies as the messengers returned.
A total amount of One Thousand Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (Ghc 1,500.00) was presented to support the victim's surgery.
*Conclusion And Way Forward*
1. All local SRC in the sector should try to consider this issue as pertinent enough and extend a helping hand. Foso College of Education added Ghc 500.00 to the sector's agreed amount.
2. An *EMERGENCY FUND* should be created by and for the sector to support its citizen when and if such an incident should occur.
